Account-Wide Progression
Several elements are now shared across all your characters, so your progress truly feels like it belongs to your account, not just one hero:
- Neutral reputations
- Mounts
- Achievements
- Transmogrification appearances
Dynamic Mounts
Mount speed is now tied to your riding skill, not to the mount itself.
Use any mount unlocked on your account with any of your characters. The speed simply matches your current riding level.
No more switching between mounts just to go faster, and you can be fast with any mount!
Switchable Racials
You no longer have to pick a race for its racials alone.
Each character begins with their standard racial abilities, but new quests allow you to unlock additional racials from other races. Interested? You'll have to find them and complete them.
Once unlocked, you can freely switch between them anytime out of combat, tailoring your racials to your playstyle or build.
Choosing Your Starting Zone
When creating a new character, you begin in your race's usual starting zone.
However, the very first quest-giver now lets you choose a different starting zone available to your faction.
This makes it easier to level with friends of other races or simply enjoy a new leveling route from the start.
Instant Logout
You can now log out instantly while in starting zones.
Maps for All Dungeons and Raids
Every dungeon and raid from Vanilla, The Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King now includes an in-game map.
No more getting lost or alt-tabbing to check layouts, the full instance view is available right from your map panel.
Boss Listing and Progress Tracker
Upon entering any dungeon or raid, a new panel shows all bosses within the instance and tracks your progress in real time. Each time you defeat a boss, the list updates automatically, helping you see at a glance what remains to be cleared.
One-Click Junk Selling
Vendors now feature a "Sell Junk" button that automatically sells all gray-quality items in your bags at once.
Spend less time managing your inventory and more time adventuring.
Item Recovery System
If you ever sell an item by mistake and log out before buying it back, you can now recover it directly from the website.
All sold items are saved, so you'll never lose gear due to an accidental sale again.
New Race/Class Combinations
We've added several new race/class combinations to let you play your favorite class with your favorite race.
AoE Loot
AoE Loot lets you loot all nearby corpses at once with a single click. No more clicking through piles of bodies after a big pull!
Just open one corpse, and instantly collect all eligible loot and gold from the others around it. It's a seamless quality-of-life upgrade that keeps the gameplay fast and satisfying without changing any drop rates or loot rules.
